Atlanta, Georgia – Gold Seal Ventures released version 2.0 of its popular “Online Ground School” with a new look and, more importantly, significantly expanded new content. Previously selected by Plane & Pilot magazine as a “2008 Top Ten Online Resource”, the site has essentially doubled the amount of content contained from before. “We now have literally hours of online multimedia covering training topics from airspaces, to navigation, to IFR flight,” said the company’s technology chief, Paul Kiefert. “Considering the rising costs in flight training these days, our free lessons alone can save people hundreds of dollars. We’re doing our part to offset the high prices of gas. We want people to learn to fly and this is something we can do to help.” The web-based ground school is divided into a free section and a premium section. The free portion hosts a large variety of multimedia presentations and training documents. These animated and narrated lessons focus on private pilot topics. Additional premium lessons present topics at the primary, instrument, and commercial levels. The company believes it differentiates itself from others in the quality of its free offerings. “A lot of sites hold out some free tips or newsletters as a carrot to attract student pilots. We’re offering not just the carrot – we’re giving them the entire garden. ” Although a free registration is not required to take the ground school lessons, it does give site visitors access to a monthly live training broadcast. Hosted by a panel of high-time CFIs, the streaming internet radio show solicits questions from listeners via an onscreen chat window. The free training broadcast, called “Ground School Live”, is carried on another Gold Seal site, www.GoldSealLive.com. The Gold Seal Online Ground School can be accessed freely at www.FAA-Ground-School.com. # # # For more information contact Russell Still at Russell@goldsealflight.com Click here for a .pdf version of this News Release.
