The Private Pilot Practical Test is a student pilot's final exam. It is more commonly known as the "checkride". The exam is divided into two parts: an oral portion and a flight portion. The requirements of the exam are published in a document called the Practical Test Standards (PTS). In addition to studying this multimedia lesson, make sure to download the Gold Seal Abridged and Annotated PTS. Good prep work will help ensure that you pass your checkride with flying colors!
